Are you a Tourism/Hospitality SME leader based in Lancashire who is looking to develop and grow your business?

Join the funded Boost Peer Networks programme which will help you overcome business challenges, learn and build a trusted network.
Marketing Lancashire is working alongside Boost; Lancashire’s Business Growth Hub, to deliver a national business support programme for Lancashire businesses.

Peer Networks is for SME leaders that want to help Lancashire’s businesses overcome challenges, build a trusted network and improve their performance through a funded programme of targeted knowledge sharing where they will work with likeminded business leaders.

Marketing Lancashire’s Tourism and Hospitality group will bring together tourism and hospitality business owners and managers to solve common challenges faced post-pandemic and aid business recovery and growth.

Hosted by an experienced facilitator, the group will not only encourage participants to learn from each other, but also enable them to gain insight from private sector experts and improve business performance.  Participants will also receive 3.5 hours one-to-one business coaching that will be designed to prioritise your individual business needs.

The programme is completely free to eligible businesses and simply requires the commitment to attend all sessions. These will be held fortnightly from mid-October and most sessions will be virtual to help fit more readily around other commitments. A schedule of dates and times will be provided at the start of the programme.

The fully-funded Peer Networks programme will see the creation of a series of Peer Networks (cohorts) through the Boost network, with each group consisting of 8-11 owners or managers from SME businesses.

It includes interactive action learning, trained facilitators, small groups, flexible topic selection and one to one coaching. The support will be delivered through a series of high impact group sessions, with each cohort led by an expert facilitator.

By completing Peer Networks, you will overcome business challenges and recognise and act on new opportunities, build a trusted network of connections to support you now and in the future, and improve your long-term personal and business performance.

Peer Networks is funded by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) in response to a commitment made in the 2019 Business Productivity Review. It will take place from September 2021 – March 2022 and follows a successful Peer Networks pilot programme which ran from October 2020 – March 2021.

It is available to any small or medium sized business that has

  • Operated for at least one year
  •  At least five employees
  • A turnover of at least £100,000
  • An aspiration to improve

Ideally, participants should also have
