The Barton Grange Hotel collects a duo of accolades at the Lancashire Tourism Awards

General manager Daniel Rich and his team at the independently owned Barton Grange Hotel in Preston are celebrating this month, as they beat off strong competition to secure both the title of ‘Best Large Hotel’ and the coveted Customer Service Award in the annual Lancashire Tourism Awards.

The Hotel was short-listed for four awards this year, facing stiff competition from seven other nominees to win Large Hotel of the Year Award and beating-off a range of visitor attractions and tourism services to walk away with the prized Customer Service accolade.   

The win for The Barton Grange Hotel comes on the back of an £500,000 investment which has included the refurbishment of the Hotel’s bedrooms and conference facilities, and an ongoing programme of guest room upgrades.

Commenting on the win, general manager Daniel Rich said: “It’s such a huge honour for the Hotel to win not one, but two awards!  The whole team has worked so hard to ensure that the standard of our service is second to none and our Lancashire hospitality – is simply legendary.’

He added: ‘Our refurbishment means that we have some of the finest bedrooms and conference facilities in the area. Coupled with our genuine passion for service and wonderful relationships with Lancashire’s amazing independent suppliers, it gives our guests many great reasons to come back to see us time and time again.’
