The Pines welcomes back Head Chef Ryan Green

Ryan previously worked at The Pines,  but left to widen his experience by going

to work at a number of 5 star hotels around the country including the world renowned 5 star deluxe Lanesborough Hotel in Knightsbridge under Executive Chef Paul Gayler who has become one of  the finest of the new generation of British chefs and is known for  'Eurasian' cuisine which combines European techniques with flavours of the Orient

Paul first met Ryan when he entered a Salon Culinaire competition at The Hotel Olympia in London when he was only 19 years old he entered the poultry and feathered game section and won bronze.

Paul Gayler who was head of the federation of judges approached Ryan and asked him if he wanted to work for him at The Lanesborough Hotel.

Ryan had three promotions at The Lanesborough under Paul and then eventually left to go to The Coniston Hotel Skipton when he was Head Chef at only 22.

Ryan who is a family man is back at The Pines and enjoying his role. His

hand picked team of chefs use only locally sourced ingredients and sourcing the best produce Lancashire has to offer.

Ryan is already producing fabulous food at The Pines which is one of Lancashire's established privately owned hotels, Mrs Duffin has owned and run The Pines Hotel for over 50 years and she is looking forward to working with Ryan and enjoying his quality food .
