Festival of Making nominated for three UK Festival Awards
Deco Publique’s well loved National Festival of Making, which takes over Blackburn’s town centre, each year has been nominated in a number of categories at the UK Festival Awards.
The three awards up for grabs by the festival are:
- Best Non Music Festival
- Best Family Festival
- Best Medium Sized Festival
The UK Festival Awards are one of the biggest awards on the UK festival calendar, and the winners are selected via public vote. Voting only takes a couple of seconds and is completely free.
The festival organisers are asking those who have been to the National Festival of Making, took part in one of their workshops, been to a talk, participated in a project or just love what they do, to vote for them today.
The news comes after Festival of Making was shortlisted among some of the best Large Events across Lancashire in the Lancashire Tourism Awards 2023. Lets hope its a bumper year for the festival.
