2019 - a year of promoting Lancashire

In a nod to the season and the new year ahead ….here’s a look back at our year at Marketing Lancashire.  Thank you for your support and help – we look forward to working with you to raise the profile of this fantastic county in 2020.

12 months of making

This is a county that makes things, and in 2019 we’ve been channelling our inner Lancashire, from making a new home for ourselves at Old Docks House to putting up a Taste marquee at the National Festival of Making, the team has been rolling their sleeves up and getting stuck in.

11 drop-in sessions

Getting out and about around the county and holding drop-in sessions for our Marketing Lancashire partners to say hello and listen to their feedback.

10 tasty champions

Our Taste Lancashire Ambassadors have not only been winning awards and recognition left, right and centre, but they have given us their time, talent and produce to deliver a stand-out showcase of Lancashire food in London that will see the county reap the benefit for months and months to come. We cannot thank them enough.

9 awesome ambassadors

Our thanks also to the Lancashire Business Ambassadors who have inspired a whole new campaign that will launch in 2020 – their support for the promotion of Lancashire is invaluable. We want to reach 20 ambassadors in 2020, so if you know an incredible business that fits the bill please ask them to get in touch
