To our Partners - we are here for you..

Dear Partners,

We are all experiencing some of the most difficult times but would like our partners and colleagues to know that we are working closely with Visit England and Visit Britain, to secure tailored advice and support for Lancashire’s tourism businesses.

At the moment Lancashire is ‘open for business’ and we are doing all we can to put visitors’ minds at rest, in the knowledge that our partners will be taking all necessary precautions to ensure that they are providing safe environments for their staff and visitors.

Marketing Lancashire is closely monitoring and following government guidance. We firmly believe in the resilience and determination of Lancashire’s incredible tourism community and will support you, in whatever way possible, to overcome this challenge together.

Chief Executive of Marketing Lancashire

We are here for you

The team at Marketing Lancashire is still here for you and at present working from the office at Old Docks House, Preston. The good health and wellbeing of the team, our partners and colleagues is our priority and we are following guidelines on hand-washing, social interactions and our staff will self-isolate if needed.

If we have appointments at Old Docks House please keep yourself and us safe by:

  • Washing hands thoroughly when entering the building and using hand sanitisers.
  • Avoid touching your face.
  • Use paper tissues to catch coughs and sneezes and dispose of these after use, then wash hands again.
  • Avoid shaking hands and contact – we will understand and a smile says we’re pleased to see you.
  • If you feel hot, have a dry cough – then please self-isolate and postpone our meeting, we’ll understand.

Over the next few weeks there will be occasions when the team may have to work remotely but we have everything in place to do so effectively, maintaining our service levels and support.
