Lancashire and Blackpool Tourism Awards 2011/12

Lancashire and Blackpool Tourist Board (LBTB) and visitBlackpool are delighted to announce that Blackpool-born singing sensation, Jodie Prenger, is to present and perform at the Lancashire and Blackpool Tourism Awards 2011/12 which will be held at the Paradise Room, Pleasure Beach Resort, Blackpool on Thursday 22 September 2011.

Jodie shot to fame on the BBC TV programme I’d Do Anything in which talented singers from across the country performed in the hope of winning the coveted role of Nancy, in Cameron Mackintosh’s revival of Oliver! Jodie won and later received the 2010 Whatsonstage Theatregoers’ Choice Award, for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical for her portrayal of Nancy. Since then Jodie has performed in the Number 1 UK Tour of Spamalot, has made regular TV, radio and concert appearances and written My Story, her autobiography.
