Quality Charter

Marketing Lancashire no longer requires accommodation businesses to hold a nationally recognised formal quality accreditation to work with us.

We now ask accommodation businesses who wish to become partners, or advertisers in our website, e-marketing activity or publications to agree to provide a good level of service for visitors.

We will now promote non accredited accommodation businesses on our website www.visitlancashire.com, but only those who have signed up to our Marketing Lancashire

Accommodation Quality Charter, which is a clear reference for partnership protocols and we reserve the right to cease partnership with a property at any time if they were subject to a number of customer complaints.

We do still recommend that accommodation businesses seek to gain a national accreditation such as the stars scheme from Visit England (administered by Quality In Tourism) or the AA which is widely recognised by visitors when deciding upon accommodation.

We recommend that visitors check on websites, such as Trip Advisor for customer reviews to satisfy themselves of service and quality offered by accommodation providers.
