National Quality Accommodation Scheme (NQAS)

  • Are you committed to ensuring your guests have a quality experience?
  • Can you reassure your guests that your accommodation meets nationally recognised standards?
  • Would you like to benefit from marketing opportunities offered by the tourist board and its wide network of partners?

If so then read on:

A quality marque allows guests to make an informed choice that their chosen accommodation is part of a quality scheme that is recognised nationally.

The scheme used by the industry awards one to five stars against a set criteria within a range of categories to suit your business with the number of stars awarded reflecting the overall quality of the experience.

In Lancashire the quality scheme is available via either Visit England or the AA. The grading system used in each scheme is identical but the two awarding bodies offer different marketing opportunities which you should consider when making your choice. The Visit England scheme is administered by a third party body called Quality In Tourism.
